The starter-generator, 10% fuel saving at low cost The Peugeot Citroen group (PSA) has announced the production of the first starter-generator for this year. Combining the functions of alternator and starter, this component allows particularly a fuel saving of up to 10 % in city driving, thanks to automatic engine shut off at each short stop.
